Dale Morris
Executive Producer
Artistic Director 2001 - July 2008

Dale Morris is the founder of San Diego Theatre Scene, Inc. and all its various parts (see parts).  He is stepping down as 6th @ Penn artistic director on July 1, 2008 and will remain as executive producer. He has been an actor for the last 30 years but made his living as a property manager, managing large residential apartment complexes until purchasing 6th @ Penn.  He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and Actors’ Equity Association (AEA) the union of stage actors.  Dale created the San Diego Theatre Scene Newsletter in 2001 which now reaches 6100 San Diego theatre goers weekly.  When presented with an opportunity to purchase the lease on the space that is now 6th @ Penn, he did so, turning it non-profit, and is proud that the little theatre has provided more work for actors, directors and technical designers than any other small to mid-sized theatre in Southern California.
